Most lawn companies price a fall cleanup like a suburban backyard. Rake, bag, leave the bags at your curb. On an acreage that is not a service. We bring commercial blowers and a dump trailer, we work the whole lot including the fence lines and the ditch edge, and every leaf leaves with us.

A fall cleanup on a Caledon acreage is a different job from a fall cleanup on a town lot, and it needs different equipment. Leaves on two acres cannot be raked. Fence lines and ditch edges get missed by every company that shows up with a pickup and a leaf rake. And on a rural property there is nowhere to leave the pile, because there is no municipal leaf collection coming down your sideroad.
So we bring the trailer and everything goes with us. Here is what a Treefrog fall cleanup covers:
Commercial blowers and a dump trailer. The machines that make two acres of leaves a one day job instead of three weekends of your life.
No bags at your gate and no pile behind the shed. We load it and it is gone the same day.
We know these roads and these properties. We know what an acreage off Old Church Road needs in October before we pull into the driveway.
Text a photo of the property and you get a price back today. No site visit needed for most jobs, no sales call, no waiting a week.
You get the whole number before we start. No hourly clock running while you wonder, and no surprise on the invoice.
We do not quote a flat rate sight unseen, and you should be careful with anyone who does. An open acre with three maples and a treed acre with a quarter mile of fence line are not the same job, and a number given before anyone has looked is a number that gets revised upward on the day.
Text a few photos to 416-892-8816 and you will have a firm number back today. That number is the number you pay.
Quoted flat before we start. No hourly clock, no revision on the day.
Book too early and the job has to be done twice. Book too late and we are lifting a frozen mat instead of loose leaves, which takes longer and costs you more. Here is roughly how the season runs in Caledon.
The calendar fills before the leaves are even down. Getting on the list now means you pick the week instead of taking what is left.
The best month for hazard trees and fence lines, while the ground is still firm enough for equipment and before the wind finds the weak limbs.
Leaves mostly down, ground not yet frozen. This is the week you actually want, and it is the week everyone else wants too.
Frozen leaf mat has to be broken up before it can be moved. It is still doable, it just costs more and takes longer.
Everybody has one. The dead ash along the laneway. The limb leaning over the hydro drop to the house. The trunk you look at every December and hope.
It is cheaper to take down than to clean up. A planned removal in October is a scheduled job with the right equipment. The same tree across your driveway in February is an emergency call, a blocked laneway and usually a fence to repair as well.
Fall is the right time for it. The leaves are off so we can actually see the structure, the ground is still firm enough to get equipment in, and it is done before the first ice load of the winter tests it.
One of our crew has worked alongside hydro utility crews on energized lines. That is why we can quote a tree near the wires when other companies tell you to call the utility and wait.
Ask anyone else you are considering whether they will work near a live drop. It is the fastest way to tell us apart.
We do not give a flat rate before we have seen the property, because an open acre and an acre under mature maples are different jobs and a number guessed in advance only gets revised upward on the day. Text us photos and you will have a firm price the same day. That price is quoted before we start, it is not an hourly rate, and it is the number you pay.
A typical acreage is one day with a crew of two or three. Heavily treed properties, long fence lines or multi acre lots can run into a second day. We tell you which it is when we quote.
No. Leave the gate unlocked and let us know about any dogs, septic beds or soft ground we should stay off. We text you photos of the finished property before we leave.
It all leaves on our dump trailer. We do not blow leaves into the treeline, into the ditch or over the fence into the neighbour's field, and we do not leave a pile for you to deal with later.
Usually not. Our equipment is commercial and it needs room to work, so we are best on acreages, hobby farms and larger rural lots. If you are not sure whether your property is a fit, text a photo to 416-892-8816 and we will tell you in a minute.
Book for the week after most of your leaves are down and before the first hard frost. Too early and the job has to be done twice. Too late and we are lifting a frozen mat instead of loose leaves, which takes longer and costs more.
We work in rain. We do not work in ice or high wind. If weather moves your date you get a text the night before, not the morning of.
